I found my first deer antler shed, Saturday, March 11, 2017...
...and then the Turkey Trail camera revealed something interesting:
Found this
shed late morning Saturday, March 11, 2017  8-pointer after losing right-side antler

We did use the gray hardwood [very center of photo] near the Turkey Trail.
Much to my dismay, this "hardwood" turned out to be a sweetgum tree.

Later on in 2017, we needed to straighten the stand and we did more harm than good.
I ended up having to place a ground blind when hunting February 1, 2018.

Ultimately, the stand was not corrected until Robert came to help us on
August 12, 2018.

WE'VE NOW GOT GEORGIA HAWGS!
